One Week

I can't believe I leave in a week! I have waited so long for this trip and can't wait. It is going to be an amazing experience!I still have yet to fill my bags with clothes, but with the help from Alli I have narrowed down some things to bring. On the top of my list is camera, bathing suits, money, and pictures from home. :) I am going to miss everyone so much but I know it will be worth it! I cant wait to take my first pictures in Oz and post them! I might get a picasa account. If I do ill post the link. Ill be sure to put up maps so everyone can google earth where I am. I have already done that for a couple of the places I will be. It looks spectacular! I fly to Melbourne (pronounced mel-bern) and have orientation with my program for 4 days. Then its off to Brisbane (don't pronounce the e) where I am studying at Bond University. I recently found out it is one of Australia's top rated schools! Woo hoo! I have a week of orientation on Bond before classes start, to adjust to the jetlag, and figure out my way around campus. I already feel like a freshman again. I know I'm going to stick out like a sore thumb with my American accent, but hey its a 40% international school so it wont be that bad right?

Packing

Packing can be a lot harder than most people think. I am used to packing way too much, and having my parents sending my clothes if I some how forget something. Australia will be a different story. I will have to pack all my stuff in two suit cases! I am notorious for packing things I don't need, so maybe I'll break the habit! I'm two weeks away from leaving and already stressed out about what to bring. I have typed out a packing list but will somehow manage to pack way too much, so please everyone send me light packing vibes so I will be able to bring home lots of souvenirs for everyone.
